Maus B war inzwischen so dick geworden, dass sie Mühe hatte der schlanken Maus A zu folgen.
Als sie beim Steinhaufen angekommen waren, schauten sie beide hinein.
Die dünne Maus sah, dass der Topf leer war.
"Wer hat denn all unser Apfelmus gegessen?" ,fragte sie entsetzt.
Puis toutes deux se mirent en route.
La souris B était devenue si grosse qu‘elle avait des peines à suivre la maigre souris A.
Arrivées au tas de pierres, elles examinèrent la cachette de près.
La souris maigre s’aperçut que la pot était vide.
"Mais qui a donc mangé toute notre compote de pommes?" ,demanda-t-elle épouvantée.
Then they both set out on their way to the pot.
Mouse B had become as fat as to have hard troubles following the slender mouse A.
When they arrived at the pile of stones they both took a closer look to the hiding-place.
The slim mouse noticed that the pot was empty.
"But who has eaten all our apple-stew?" ,she asked terrified.
